On October 30th 2024, representatives from the Centre were welcomed at the Swedish Embassy in Cairo for a meeting with the Deputy Ambassador Mme. Mahyad Takavoli. In this meeting Bishop Dr. Mouneer Anis, Centre Director; Rev. Dr. Matthew Anderson, Director of Academic Studies; and Mr. Kareem Gerges, Director of International Partnerships & Communications, were able to discuss partnership possibilities with the Swedish Embassy for a joint project promoting interfaith peace and cooperation. An important topic of the conversation was the raising of awareness of the complexities of interfaith relations amongst the diplomatic community.
