Misr El-Kheir is a non-profit development organisation that aims to benefit Egyptians in all of life, with programmes to improve access to healthcare and education, to reduce poverty, and to improve social solidarity in Egypt. The current chairman is Prof. Dr. Ali Gomaa, the Grand Mufti of Egypt from 2003 until his retirement in 2012.
